Artist's Statement:

My paintings come from the process of making connections
between form and symbol, the kinetic and the still. I intend
dialog and subjectivity with the placement of ambiguous text
and the subtile manipulation of color and form. Incorporating
eastern and western artistic ideas I seek to connect viewers
with deeper collective truths while exorcising my own sub-
conscious. Beauty and meaning combine to create a natural
aesthetic in the painting when I am successful in my work.
